General Principles for the Use of AI in Learning, Teaching, Research, and Management Processes
The general principles adopted by our university regarding the use of AI in learning, teaching, research, and management processes are as follows:
- Transparency, Integrity, Accountability, and Responsibility: MSKU adopts core ethical values, such as transparency, integrity, accountability, and responsibility, as guiding principles in all processes.
- Awareness and Education: MSKU informs its students and staff about the conscious use of AI1.
- Confidentiality and Privacy: Information shared with AI using default settings may not be confidential and could expose private or sensitive data to unauthorized parties. MSKU students and staff should not share data without explicit consent on public AI platforms. The responsibility for privacy, security, confidentiality, and copyright in AI usage lies with the user2.

2. In case of violations related to the use and processing of personal data in AI applications, the
Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 applies. For violations related to copyright,
Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works is applicable. For violations concerning scientific research, teaching, and education, the provisions of
Law No. 2547 on Higher Education and its secondary regulations are in force.
